They were a little unprepared (not enough servers or wine) to fully serve the thirsty guests, but other than that the event was great!

The museum is wonderful, but if you really want to the the art works; you 'd better off this and go during the day.
It was also our first time in this museum; I found out that with student ID you pay only $5 which made me feel like I did not get any bargain from goldstar because the general tickets are for general admission only anyway.

Very congenial crowd (mostly young-ish) in a superb setting. A great venue for friends to gather. The "show" by performance artist Ledoh was interesting and intense, something I would probably never see otherwise. (I'm in my 70s!) But I enjoyed the experience. One must keep exploring!

Good crowd of all ages mingling and enjoying the atmosphere and artwork. An opportunity to experience what life was like as a wealthy person back then.

Ticket distribution was not well handled. We got in with just the e-mail copy.
Jazz was progressive end enjoyable for me, but some in my group did not expect what we heard.
Museum is beautiful and should be enjoyed on a day with fewer people around and time to learn about the exhibits.

Should have picked up the tickets in advance, they were extremely unorganized (long line). The event was fine, could have done w/o the concert as I wasn't expecting a sit down Jazz concert. Next time I will go to the museum only.

Concert was good but Goldstar members had problems getting their tickets. That resulted in getting us in after the concert had already started. Very disappointing service.

Getting into the museum was chaotic. We arrived a little late because of the confusion at the door. Never did get tickets but e-mail got us into the concert. The musicians were very good but the vocalist was poor. I was surprised when it ended in one hour. Parking is impossible.

I loved the event. It would have been helpful to know that we could have gone before 7:00.

It wasn't "jazz" as it turns out, but "blue grass" music, which while entertaining, was not what I was looking forward to, and seemed some how out of place in such a formal setting.

The musicians were very good however their professor talked too much. Also, there was only one appetizer and an extremly limited beverage selection ( a totla of four choices, one wine, one beer, one drink and water).

Bluegrass band was fine--but it's a little weird to treat bluegrass music like concert music and sit still in a very dark room to hear it. I always think of it as dancing music! That said, the rest of the after hours event was very nice. Drinking a glass of wine (though overpriced) while listening to the classical music in the courtyard was definitely a highlight, and it was a great way to see the collection for the first time.

The weather was lousy on the night we attended, but still there was a great crowd - enough to be fun but not so crowded you couldn't move. Of course the museum is gorgeous... and the jazz was fantastic. I went with the girls from work and we plan to make it a regular event. Oh, and there was a great mix of all ages as well.

This was a fun event in a beautiful, almost magical setting. Very relaxing. The only downside: Your ticket price just gets you in the door. Once inside, all food and drink cost you, so it's like paying $15 to get in and drop more cash. Alcoholic drinks are $8; food - small but yummy - can be purchased in the cafe, and it is very good, and reasonably priced ($11 - 12). We loved the jazz concert. The room was fa-ree-zing, though, so bring a jacket into the Tapestry room for the concert, don't leave it in the coat check!

The dance performance was too avant-garde for my tastes. The ambiance of the night was lovely though.
